Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty loves competition. After winning the big crown at the UK reality show Big Brother, she is now set to participate in

the 26.2 mile long London Marathon.

The London Marathon will take place on the April 22. The race for a select category of A-list female runners will kick start at 9 a.m. Shilpa is running

the marathon for a worthy social cause. If she wins, she plans to donate her prize money to an Indian charity Water Aid - which provides clean

unadulterated water to villages in India.

Incidentally, Shilpa's Big Brother housemate Jade Goody, who is infamous for having made racist comments on the Indian actress, participated in

the Marathon earlier this year. She ran a third of the course before collapsing and being hospitalized. However, Shilpa is said to be preparing hard

for the final run.
