Maine Pyar Kiya 1989, Hum Aapke Hai Koun! 1994 and Hum Saath Saath Hain 1999, all these films starred Salman and the movies also did amazingly well at the Box Office. However, for Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon 2003, Barjatya dropped his lucky mascot and the result is for all to see.

However, this time it seems like Sooraj does not want to take any chances. You will see Salman Khan in the film but in a very distinctive manner. The very first frame of Vivah will apparently be a poster of Salman placed in the bedroom of a character from the film. most probably Amrita Rao. This will be a very unique style of presenting the lucky mascot a film.
