Rahul Dholakia has attempted to propagate a social message through his moving film Parzania. Taking this thought forward, the director has arranged for a chat show on Radio City 91.1 FM on 25th January 2007.

The chat show will feature protagonists Naseeruddin Shah and Sarika, as well as the director Rahul Dholakia. According to Shah, Parzania as a film aims to convey how innocent people often suffer when a configuration such as the Ahmedabad riots occurs. So the entire focus of the discussion emerges from the thought - 'If you think you are free, think again'. Parzania is a film about how a Parsi family loses their son in the 2002 Godhra violence. The movie is all the more important, as it has been inspired by the true story of Dholakia's friend Dara Modi.

Parzania will witness a mass release on Republic Day this year. The movie will be screened at theatres like Inox, Cinemax, PVR and Imax Adlabs in Mumbai. Audiences in Pune, Goa, Chennai and Hyderabad will also get a chance to watch this film.
