The Board of Directors of INOX Leisure Ltd. announced its results for the second quarter of the financial year 2007-2008, following its meeting on 22nd October in Noida. Maintaining its rapid growth resulting from its aggressive national roll out, INOX reported a 45% YOY growth in revenues for Q2 2007-08 at Rs. 58.02 crores versus Rs. 39.96 crores in the same quarter of the previous year. Q2 profits grew by 19% to Rs. 8.30 crores from Rs. 6.96 crores in 2006-2007.

During the quarter, INOX opened 3 new properties, comprising of 8 screens and 2728 seats, at Bharuch, Raipur and Mumbai.

The amalgamation of Calcutta Cine Private Limited with INOX was also completed during the quarter and hence, the above results for the quarter and half year ended 30th September 2007 include the figures of the erstwhile Calcutta Cine Pvt. Ltd.

With these, INOX’s total tally of properties under operation as of 30th September 2007 has gone up to 20, with 69 screens and 21,323 seats, across 16 cities in India.
