UTV and Virgin Comics have joined hands to bring a new version of entertainment through their comics and live motion films respectively. Virgin Comics, a character entertainment company already known for creating original stories and epic myths for worldwide audiences, is tying up with UTV in their innovative style of creating characters based on Indian sensibilities. Vikas from UTV confirms,� We will create characters which will cut across medium. Virgin Comics will bring in the publication expertise and create comics out of this and we will make movies and television content and games. For UTV, making motions pictures out of completely new comic characters will be challenging and something which has not been done before.�

The only mantra it seems to be working for them is thinking of new characters rather than just imitating the old ones. Vikas further adds, �Most current films have been created from existing comics. What if we were to keep all mediums in my mind while creating the character? Therefore the way you create the characters, something different comes out.� As far as the directors are concerned, filmmakers tied up with the production house will again be exploring their creativity with this genre.

We expect this partnership with UTV Motion Pictures to launch a whole new universe of heroes and I couldn''t be more excited".

The comic books are expected to release next quarter of the year and the film will follow next year.
