Sunny Deol and Rituparna Sengupta have been teamed in director Ashwini Chaudhary's new venture, which is tentatively titled GURUDAKSHINA. Also starring in this film are Pankaj Kapoor and Om Puri. K Sera Sera and Sunny will jointly produce the film, which is based on a real-life incident.

"It's a serious film. We are highlighting a true incident this time,” Ashwini Chaudhary divulges. Another interesting development is that Adnan Sami is composing the music. In fact, the singer-composer has already recorded four songs, while two more numbers will be recorded shortly.

To lend authenticity to a realistic theme, Chaudhary has decided to shoot the film in various cities of Uttar Pradesh. In fact, the film will be shot in one single schedule from 20th February onwards.
