Anjan Dutt''s film Bow Barracks Forever that tries to highlight the predicament of the people living in the Barracks in Kolkata has found support in the form of a musical band called ''Bow Street Blues''. A group of musicians who have learnt the music from Anglo Indians or are Anglo Indians themselves have got together to celebrate Anglo Indian music and most importantly bring the plight of the Barracks to light.

In this continuous endeavor for the first time they performed here in Mumbai at ''Not Jazz by the Bay'' on Thursday evening. The band played music that usually Anglo Indians enjoy right from Elvis to rock and roll. The Band consists of five people including Neil Dutt Music Director, Lew Hilt, Chiro drummer, Shovant key borad player, famous in Calcutta night clubs and a well known music partner of Usha Uttup and Anjan Dutt.

Bow Street Blues performed last night at ''Not just Jazz by the Bay'' to promote PNC''s forthcoming film Bow Barracks Forever! People who attended the event were Mr. Pritish Nandy with his family, Dolly Thakore, Mandira Bedi with her husband Raj Kaushal, Meghna Gulzar, Shaan with his wife and Sudhir Mishra.

Anjan Dutt the director sang songs from his film and few numbers of Elvis. His son Neel Dutt who is the music Director of Bow Barracks Forever performed few rock and rolls. Shaan joined them and played some good English numbers. Dolly Thakore was seen enjoying with Mandira Bedi.
