Amitabh Bachchan is returning to action after taking a 2-month break thanks to his son Abhishek's wedding with Aishwarya Rainow Aishwarya Bachchan. He is all set to do a cameo in a Bhojpuri film Gangotri which happens to be the sequel of the hugely popular Ganga which he acted in, three months after his discharge from hospital in December 2005.
Producer Deepak Sawant, who has been Bachchan's make-up man for over three decades now, is elated. He said that the character of Thakur, played by the superstar, would be released from prison and carry on from there. Sawant hopes that the sequel does as well as the first movie.
Manoj Tiwari and Nagma, the lead pair of Ganga will shine in the sequel too and so will Ravi Kissen. Bhumika Chawla, a new addition to the star-studded film, will play the title role of Gangotri. Talks are on with Hema Malini, who played Bachchan's wife in Ganga, to make her presence felt in this one too.
