Salaam-E-Ishq
Success of the music has ensured that SEI finds a place for itself in 'music catalogue'. In industry
terms, it means that it is now an almost permanent fixture in terms of repeat orders due to consistent demand amongst audience for quality music across the country. One
of the biggest musical hits ever for Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy.

Namastey London
The film is a success. Following the trend of a successful movie enhancing the sales it's music too,
the music of 'Namastey London' too is rocking the nation. Himesh Reshammiya gets a big hit after a long time and the point to be noted is that he achieves this feat with
a new music company.
A segment of audience still loves to loathe the album…well, without listening to it
completely!

Guru
Staying in the Top-3 in spite of a constant battle of supremacy with the music of SEI and gradual
rise of 'Namastey London', 'Guru' maintains near consistent sales even 4 months after it's release. For Rahman fans, there is a brilliant single 'Pray For Me Brother'
that has just been released to keep them enthralled.
'Ek Lo Ek Muft' and 'Baazi Laga'

Dhoom 2
Falling down by a post due to Reshammiya taking over the charts yet again, 'Dhoom 2' still holds
on to its position in Top-5. Well, Pritam has how own album for competition now as his 'Metro' too has debuted.
Even YRF would be escalating the promotion of their next musical 'Ta Ra Rum Pum' soon that
would make an interesting battle in the charts for their own productions

Anwar
Albums may come and albums may go but the chant of 'Maula Mere' would never subside. Yet
another album that belongs to the 'catalogue' now, 'Anwar' is a tribute to great music. Wish we get more of it in coming months.
Most of the tracks by Pankaj Awasthi are harsh on ears

Don - The Chase Begins Again
Surprise of the week! Just when a fortnight back it seemed that the chase of 'Don' had more or
less ended as it moved towards the bottom of the charts, it has rose like a phoenix and moved so close to Top-5 again. That's quite puzzling as there are number of new
albums knocking the doors while SLBB is a close competition too!

SLBB
Staying on at # 7 for yet another week, the music of SLBB is bound to go the Namastey London'
way. This means that it should show a gradual rise up the charts next week when the film releases and then show a steady progress once the songs are seen on the big
screen. The album does have a potential; it's a matter of film being accepted by the audience.
The problem remains same as the one that was faced by 'Namastey London' for the first few
weeks of it's arrival; which is misconception around what Reshammiya has to offer.

Life In A ..Metro
Finally an album this year that experiments in a big way and succeeds quite well. Pritam comes up
with a defining album of his career and makes an out and out rock album. If promoted well and intelligently, 'Metro' should turn out to be landmark for the composer,
director Anurag Basu and producers UTV.
It would take some time to pick up amongst that segment of audience that longs for routine
romantic numbers

Water
Its quiet an achievement for the album to be staying on in the charts in spite of zero publicity of the
music and the movie being a box office washout. ''Aayo Re Sakhi'', 'Piya Ho' and ''Sham Rang Mei'' are the pick of the lot!
Swapping places with 'Don' and moving down the charts by 3 spots, it could well be over and out
for 'Water' with the arrival of 'Ta Ra Rum Pum' next week.

KLSH
A peppy score, 'Kya Love Story Hai' has taken some time to pick up and arrive in the charts.
Nevertheless it should stay on there for some time since 'Miss You Everyday' has done decently. The biggest news though is the arrival of Kareena's 'It's Rocking' that
is all set to rock the nation in a fortnight's time. Watch this space!
Don't expect an out of the box, pseudo-different score here. The film is a young love story and the
music only compliments the setting.
