A film shot in a country put down by war, director Hashmatullah Khan dares to do what he believes in. A love story blossoms in the backdrops of terrorism in the mountainous terrains of Afghanistan.

Spring of Hope is a tale of two lovers who first felt the sparks of love in a college. The two are innocently looking forward for their own Spring of Hope but unfortunately these hopes are soon shattered by the political crisis which spans the next decades in the country.

Despair replaces their hope and anguish, disillusionment and disappointment overcomes their youthful dreams which reflect the actual anguish and misery the Afghan people have suffered.
