Director of films like Dil Chahta Hai, Lakshya and Don - Farhan Akhtar had come to chat with his fans on the

farhan : Dil chahta hai as fisrt love is always special as is the first anything...

chintan : FARHAN.... A lot of critics are saying different things but...As a director, were you satisfied with DON as

a Final product?
farhan : no i am not disappointed by the criticism, I am glad that the film has done well and the critics are having

farhan : Honeymoon Travels is a fun film about 6 couples on a package vacation to Goa... a great cast, good

story... truly enjoyable. I'm glad to be associated with it

farhan : Thanks syed. No i don't think so, style is not as important as content for me. But one can use style to

make the storytelling more effective

farhan : I have not closed the doors on a sequel.... Don is around and will return when he is good and

belphegor : Hi Farhan, Please sign AAMIRKHAN as new DON in the sequel. In Hollywood - we see different

actors as James Bond then why can't we see here different actors as DON. Besides, AAMIR is a perfectionist so

everyone sit up and watch what he does to the role - pl. revert
farhan : Hi Belphegor, as much as I love Aamir and his work and his films as a director I do not think he will

make a very good Don. He looks too nice to be that mean!

DON : why does DON becomes vijay if he don't want to hide ?
farhan : thats a good question Don! To create a new identity for himself. Function freely in the world without

having the law on his back

between them.

farhan : it was roughly about 7-8 million dollars

belphegor : Farhan, you are underestimating AAMIR - don't forget, no one expected him to be a TAPORI - but

look what he did in RANGILA
farhan : no I am not underestimating him, he does not fit my vision of what I would like Don to be like... that does

not undermine him as an actor in any way.

farhan : Yes I love special features too. we are doing a clap track on the DVD which is essentially the entire film,

shot by shot, the clap edoited chronologically together! Don't ask why????

farhan : It's a great concept to rate films sensibly instead of censoring them... i wd support it, and the censor

board, to their credit, is working towards that
