fd : so how do u get the idea of new stories or different stories??
Sooraj Barjatya : fd.. we have our own story dept. which my father leads the story of

kamlesh : hello soraj-jii saw vivah and liked it very much,specailly all songs are very nice and meaningful,even though everyone wrote negative reviews about songs,i think songs are really great and lyrics are meaningful
Sooraj Barjatya : kamlesh...thanku..all were against my choice of music but i stuck to the story requirement and was very keen that hindi language shud come back in our poetry

nitesh_shahani : How was it working with AMRITA N SHAHID for the first time?
Sooraj Barjatya : shahid amrita have worked very closely with me..

hitu : ur movies repair the rough patches within relations, the give encouragement to live life positively, ur movies stay in my heart forever....u rock suraj sir....ur movies r tiny vedas n shaastras which r simple n understandable
Sooraj Barjatya : thank u hitu..the film is a success but what gives me greatest pleasure is that such a film with values has succeded, no one can say that morals are gone.

mnstranger : Are u planning to make movie with Salman and bhagashree again ?
Sooraj Barjatya : it will all depend on the subject, but y not?

Prem and Suman have grown up.

neil : Will u be making a sequel to MPK?
Sooraj Barjatya : neil, i dont think it is possible as both prem and suman have grown up..

AJ : I really loved your movie alot, do you plan on taking shahid kapoor again
Sooraj Barjatya : AJ, shahid is a wonderful actor and if i had a script ready, i wouldnt allow him to meet any other producer

Sooraj Barjatya : rajiv, we will be making more films which i will be creatively supervising with other directors, we r moving ahead in television, mobile and online entertainment and waiting for my next subject.

kartik_pune : sir, do u think vivaah will get adequate no of screens next week onwards because dhoom2 is releasing with record number of screens ....
Sooraj Barjatya : we are marketing vivah very tenderly as it is a special film...the prints are increasing slowly as we want to establish the film, fortunately Dhoom2 is a diff genre of film than vivah, our audiences are different

Ajju : i would like to ask u one question that Y this time u didn't work with RAM LAXMAN as he always gives u extraordinary music in ur past movies..as if we compare VIVAH its doesn't sound good as ur earlier movies?
Sooraj Barjatya : ajju, this film require special indian music especially western UP folk for which Raviji, was ideal

nitesh_shahani : Which is your favorite movie from ur own production house?
Sooraj Barjatya : my fav movie is Uphaar, starring Jayaji

Yagnesh : what do u like to do in ur past times Mr. Barjatya?
Sooraj Barjatya : yagnesh, whatever time i get i try to read specially litreture

rajiv : sir in today`s times when marriages are disintregrating how about seeing a film about protecting that institution? who else but you can do the best job at that

My question is I heard your interview where you said you would like to take a backseat and play a role of a producer more than a director. Please change your mind and make movie with Shahid-Amrita pair again.

mahesh : Sooraj-ji why can't you think of Malayalam blockbuster "Achuvinte Amma" Achu's mother for one of your future movies? It is a movie nicely based on mother-daughter relationship

Sooraj Barjatya : nitesh, this was how i wanted to paint poonam's character in the film so that Prem is enamoured by her traditions.

rajiv : sir i loved the film too and have seen it thrice back to back in one day i meant every where one finds a divorce happening how about making people believe in taking marriages seriously?
Sooraj Barjatya : rajiv, thanks for seeing it again, i have tried to put across the message that please go back after Vivah and give married life the same importance as u did in courtship days.

Sooraj Barjatya : how can I choose between 2 children?

I_LOVE_POONAM : Despite being so much talented, how come Amrita Rao hasn't got any good offer until Vivah? And thank you, you have given both the leading pair such a roles that they have made their mark as an actor.
Sooraj Barjatya : poonam, Amrita is very sensible and chooses films selectively. looking at their popularity after Vivah, I have lost both my artist.

ashish : Soorajji do you want to convey somthng to the critics who have given very bad reviews to VIVAH
Sooraj Barjatya : ashish, I appreciate their point of view as they have been honest and happy that the audience has been honest too. I have never received such lovely mails and such box-office response in the 1st week of any of my films.

deep : soorajji congrats..ur new film is being really appreciated by the people who matter i.e. the audiences...how is the film doing commercilly? are you satisified..?
Sooraj Barjatya : deep, more than satisfied the audience have loved the film, 1st week has been 78% and the shows are going full

Sam : with ur talent... i guess u should try to step aside.. n go some other way of making movies... n experiment !!
Sooraj Barjatya : sam, this film Vivah was my greatest experiment where I just binded moments

hitu : sooraj sir! r u married n do u have kids?
Sooraj Barjatya : i am married and have 3 children

Sooraj Barjatya : hirthik is one of the most hard working person I have met will love to work again

Sooraj Barjatya : priya, for sure india is very different than what we see in south mumbai, etc

Sanjay : why u have released Vivah in just few theatres when cities have grown to big we have to wait long to watch the movie
Sooraj Barjatya : sanjay, Vivah is a soft film without the glamour, it requires to grow with word of mouth, since it has been liked we will release big time now.

Ajju : Sooraj jee!!! Wat is the reason behind using SALMAN POSTER in VIVAH, is he is ur LUCKY CHARM?
Sooraj Barjatya : it was just by chance that the first shot of Vivah was shot in Ghaziabad and we realised a film poster of salman's film has been shot too.

rajiv : so what do we expect to see even in the film who produce? will u ever produce family films like k3g or will it be in the old style mould?
Sooraj Barjatya : rajiv, we will always make family films and will tackle all problems that we face in every generation giving solutions and hope.

Ajju : SOORAJ JEE!! WATS THE REASON BEHIND PREMEIRING THE MOVIE ON THE NET?
Sooraj Barjatya : ajju, so many indians abroad wud write to me that they cannot see my film due to no theatre, this step was for them to enjoy the film first day first show.

Sooraj Barjatya : nunni, absolutely, i didnot believe it till I went and saw.

d00by : sir, one review of your movie said that amrita rao played a cow in vivah. what do you ahve to say about such kind of vicious reviews?
Sooraj Barjatya : it does not worry me at all as the view of the audience is supreme. In Indore i heard whistles on amrita's entry and dialogues

Sooraj Barjatya : sooraj, they r all passionate makers and inspire so many youngsters to enter our profession.

Sooraj Barjatya : arun, yes u r right, as i had very subtle progress of love, but needed it to grow the relations for the power of the climax. the success of the end is due to the first half.
